are a fully internet based company providing web
services to the public, BestLelong is committed
to safeguarding all users privacy online.
BestLelong shall not intentionally disclose
individually identifiable personal information
about our users to any third party without first
receiving that user's permission.

applies specifically to e-mail address, office
and home contact number, address and any other
personal individually identifiable information
which we collect from our users.
Information Collected
BestLelong
shall only collect individually identifiable
information that is necessary for a transaction
or which is useful for our own internal
operations. During the registration process for
our services, we collect a user's e-mail
address, phone contact, address and NRIC number.
BestLelong shall also record the e-mail
addresses of those who post messages and
comments, the e-mail addresses of those who
communicate with us via e-mail, the e-mail
addresses of those who make postings to any of
our areas, aggregate information on what pages
consumers access or visit, information
volunteered by consumers and merchants, such as
survey information and/or site registration
data, and the e-mail address of those posting
comments on merchants, our buyers, sellers and
bidders.
BestLelong shall track certain
particulars about the user. This information
includes the URL that you just came from
(whether this URL is on our site or not), which
URL the user goes to (whether the particular URL
is on our site or not), on what browser the user
is using, and the user’s IP address. Many sites
automatically collect this information using
widely available site web statistical tools. In
addition, we use cookies on certain pages of our
site. Cookies allow the user to enter into
his/her password less frequently during a
session. At the same time, cookies can also help
us provide personalised information targeted to
the user’s interests. Cookies are stored on the
user hard drive, not on our site. Most cookies
are "session cookies," meaning that they are
automatically deleted at the end of a session.
The user is always free to decline our cookies
if his/her browser permits, although in that
case the user may be required to reenter his/her

If the user choose to bid, buy or sell on our
site, we collect information about the user’s
bidding, buying and selling behavior. We also
collect other users’ comments about the user in
our customer service area.

choose to establish a credit account with us, we
collect some additional information, including
billing address, and his/her credit cards
details. If the user choose to post messages in
any of our message areas or leave feedback for
other users, we will collect such information
about the user as you choose to disclose.
Purpose for Information Collected
BestLelong require a user's full name, e-mail
address, residential address, phone contact and
NRIC number and any other relevant information
from time to time during the registration for an
account for accountability and control purposes.
We shall use your e-mail address, mailing
address or office / home phone number for the
following:
1. To contact the user regarding
administrative notices from time to time.
2.
We will use the address and billing information
to bill the user.
3. We use the information
and past archives and activities to resolve
disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our
terms and conditions of using our services.
4. For order fulfillment purposes, we do need to
provide the user’s name, address, contact and
e-mail address to our dealers in order to
deliver the mechandise to his/her doorstep.
5. User Uncontactable - If user are unable to
reply to our seller / bidder within an
acceptable period of time (48 hours), we reserve
the right to release all related contact
information to the other party involve including
the user’s contact address.
6. Winning
Auctions - As long as there's a winning auction,
both seller's and buyer's contact email and
phone will be made available to each other to
facilitate the closing, delivery and payment of
the auctions.
We shall not sell or lease our
email lists or any other individually
identifiable information to other parties.
Identification Documents
Identification documents are relevant to
prevent fraud amongst users/members and enhance
credibility.
BestLelong shall assures all members that copies
and details of the NRIC / driving license, bill
headers or statement headers are kept securely
by us and will never be used for marketing
purposes. Copies and details of the IC / driving
license, bill headers or statement headers will
never be disclosed or given to any third party
by electronic means or print.
BestLelong
shall reserve the right to release personal
information or NRIC in print, should there be
any report on potential fraud or trade dispute
arising from users/members. User’s NRIC will
then be make available for relevant parties
involve in the investigation or in resolving the
fraud or dispute.
BestLelong shall reserve
the right and at our discretion to provide
certain information to relevant parties or
government agencies where copyright is believed
to have been infringed.
This
